This a trailer for Francesca and Michael’s wedding filmed on a glorious spring day at The Tithe Barn near Petersfield. We have filmed several weddings at The Tithe Barn and it really is a lovely venue set in the heart of the Hampshire countryside.

A great day lit up by both the rare appearance of the sun and Francesca’s smile. Apart from a stunning venue there was welly throwing, crochet, a jazz band as well as a lucky chimney sweep and cat!

Hope to put up an extended highlights sequence from the wedding shortly but in the meanwhile the trailer gives a flavour of the day.

Abigail and Adam were married at the stunning Ashridge House in Berkhampstead. Despite the wettest April in 100 years they managed to pick one of the few dry(ish) days in April and even the sun came out. A great day complete with a superb string trio, magician and live band. Its the first time we have ever filmed a wedding on a staircase but it really created a magnificent setting and backdrop

Following on from the wedding film trailer we recently posted we are pleased to post the full highlights from Lauren and Nathan’s wedding video. This was the last wedding we filmed in 2011 and made even more special by the wonderful Christmas feel about the whole day.

There’s not a lot more to say as much of the description of the venue and day was done when we posted the trailer, so sit back and enjoy. Don’t forget that we would love your comments.

With Christmas just a few days away, we are pleased to show the trailer for our latest wedding film; Lauren and Nathan – The Wedding.

We filmed Lauren and Nathan’s wedding at Oaks Farm Barn in Shirley, Croydon.Organising a December wedding is always a bit of a gamble, for example last year in the same week, we almost got snowed off! Oaks Farm is a lovely venue, but it looked exceptionally stunning with a distinct Christmas feel with Christmas trees and other festive decorations. The flower displays were simply amazing (all shown to good effect in the film.The day went without a hitch with a lovely atmosphere of fun and laughter helped by photographer Pebble, from Pebble Heaven. It was a pleasure to spend the day with Lauren and Nathan, a lovely couple who clearly complement each other.

With all the 2011 weddings behind us now it is time to think about 2012. We are already nearly fully booked for the summer months and have some new ideas that we will be introducing in the New Year. In the meanwhile we wish everybody a Happy Christmas and (hopefully) a prosperous New Year (politicians allowing).

Jennifer and Mark were married on an absolutely gorgeous sunny autumn day at St. Mary’s Church in Horsham, a church we have filmed in many times over the years. Jenny looked stunning as she walked down the aisle with more than a hint of emotion.

After photos outside the church we moved on to The Fellbridge Hotel in East Grinstead in Sussex. The sun was really lovely with that low-down look that gave a warm glow to everything. The wedding breakfast room looked amazing, with the cake and decorations being mainly designed by Jenny.

The personal interviews throughout the day with Jenny, Mark and their parents helped give the wedding film a more personal and intimate insight into the day. A great day and as usual we welcome your comments.

STUNNING WEDDING VIDEOS BY CREATIVE SUSSEX-BASED WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER

Welcome to the trailer for Abigail and Sam’s wedding video. This was a really autumn amazing day. I have never known weather like it for the end of October. Blue skies, warm sun and the most amazing leaf colours. Really glorious. This makes the job of a wedding videographer so much easier as autumn and winter weddings can sometimes be a challenge if there isn’t very much outside footage.

St. Paul’s Church was just a stone throw from Hampton Court and the River Thames, but it was like being in a tiny, leafy village. A very helpful vicar and good to be working with photographer Sarah Critchlow.

Sam was clearly puffed up with pride about marrying Abigail, this showed as he and Abigial walked back down the aisle; he looked so proud and spent all day introducing people to the new Mrs. Maino! Abigail looked absolutely stunning as she walked up to the church and her mum shed a few tears during the ceremony.

The reception was at The Woodlands Park Hotel in Cobham. With gentle sunshine streaming through the autumn leaves it was a complete contrast to the last time I was there when there was 6″ of snow! Working with Sarah the photographer, we got some great footage of Abigail and Sam inside and outside the venue.

Sam’s best man (his brother) told some very funny stories of their childhood days, including the time that Sam called Childline to report his brother for teasing him!

STUNNING WEDDING VIDEOS BY CREATIVE SUSSEX-BASED WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER

Clair and Brett were married at St. John The Baptist Church in the charming village of Kirdford in Sussex. The reception was held in just down the road in Batholomew’s Barn a stunning location in the heart of the Sussex countryside. This really was a day of emotion and laughter with both Clair and Brett coming near to tears; Clair as she said her vows and Brett during his speeches.

There was plenty of laughter throughout the day. One highlight was during the Best Man speech when all the guests were giving false moustaches, including Clair and Brett. Result, some really hilarious footage. As mentioned, Brett got very emotional when he started talking about Clair.

The wedding breakfast dessert was a little different with each table having there own home-made cake, with each table having a different type of cake. Some of the more canny guests made little sorties to other tables in order to have a variety of different cake samples!

It was a pleasure to work with photographers Pen and Cam. During the day we, Pen, Cam and myself took the couple into some local woods for some really stunning footage.

Just writing to let you know both families gathered yesterday along with Laura and Mike for the first screening (of many) of their wedding filmed on 13th August 2011, at Denbies Vineyard, Surrey. The biggest thank-yous come from the respective families and the bride and groom. It brought back so many memories of a very happy day which we shall all treasure forever. The shots taken at the church and in the vineyard were not only creative but truly spectacular. Many thanks once again for a truly professional and treasured keepsake of a wonderful day.

As usual August was a very busy month with weddings every weekend. This is a wedding videographer’s busiest time of the year with almost continuous filming and editing for several weeks. During the month we filmed some lovely weddings and by and large the weather was kind to the various couple’s. We also filmed at some new venues including Norton Park Hotel in Hampshire, The Royal Holloway College, a really stunning venue and Denbies Wine Estates in Surrey.

Anyway, we are still busy editing the various wedding videos that we filmed throughout the month and haven’t had huge amounts of time to do any new postings. We have managed to put together the following trailer for Sara-Jayne and John’s wedding video.

Sarah-Jayne and John were married in the charming village church of Kings Worthy in Hampshire. A lovely sunny day with a gentle breeze to stop it getting too hot. We have put together this short trailer from their wedding video and decided to give it a classical feel with Le-Onde as the backing track. Sarah-Jayne arrived at the ceremony in a Yellow New York Cab. She looked absolutely stunning in an eye-catching dress. I think everyone caught their breath as she walked down the aisle.

After the ceremony we all made our way to The Norton Park Hotel at Sutton Scotney. This was a splendid venue set in acres of lawn with a small lake at the bottom. An ideal setting for a wedding reception and wedding video. The day was helped along by photographer Rowan Watts. Rowan has that easy-going manner combined with a creative flair that helps the day along while at the same time introducing an element of fun into the day as well as creating some stunning, unusual shots. A pleasure to work with and helped as to capture some great footage.

To set the atmosphere there was a Steel Band playing on the lawns throughout the afternoon, whole day a carnival atmosphere. A fun day with a bubbly couple.

We filmed Emma Jane and Sam’s wedding video in August. It was a slightly different start inasmuch that we didn’t film Emma Jane getting ready. Instead we filmed the Ushers pre-wedding meal at the nearby pub. It looked delicious but unfortunately I had plenty of other things to get ready otherwise I might have been tempted to join them!

A dark sky threatened rain but it held off as the guests and Emma Jane arrived at the church. Emma Jane looked radiant and stunning as she got out the car and made her way to the church. Inside it was cosy to say the least. A wonderful 13th century village church with capacity for 100 people found itself host to 150 guests! They ending up sitting in the choir stalls.

A lovely service with a helpful vicar. Unfortunately the rain started when the ceremony ended putting a stop to the usual group photos. The reception was held at Emma Jane’s parents house. With the reception under way I recognised two other couples whose weddings we also filmed!!

Some very funny speeches by the two best men followed by the first dance played live by The Band. A fun day with loads of atmosphere.

We have put up this trailer for Keighley and Mark’s wedding video. Keighley and Mark were married at The Bannatyne Hotel, just outside Battle in East Sussex.It was an ideal day for a wedding with wall to wall sunshine but with a gentle breeze to stop it getting too hot.

Having meet Keighley and Mark before the wedding I knew that they were a bubbly couple and that the day would be special. I was right. This was a day that had everything. Laughter, tears and bucket loads of atmosphere.

The day started with Mark and the lads having a round of golf while the ladies got ready. Even the Best Man Chris, Mark’s brother, had a Best Man, because, apparently Chris couldn’t be trusted with the rings – although he denies this!

It was an outdoors ceremony which gave us the only real issue of the day as we had to film the whole ceremony from outside the raised dais. This gave us a few problems with light and not a very clear shot. But it all worked out OK in the end.

The ceremony was followed by a very relaxed afternoon during which we got some good footage of the couple and their guests. The meal concluded with a very funny speech from the Best Man, Chris. After the meal we managed to get some fun shots including the throwing of the bouquet, reservoir dogs scene followed by a fun Morecambe and Wise ‘Give Me Sunshine’ scene and a ‘Here Come the Girls’ sequence.

We had an email from Nyssa and Nick this morning about their wedding video. “I love, love the DVD. You have done an amazing job as I knew would be the case, but it has superseded every expectation I had. I haven’t stopped showing it to people and everyone comments on what a great job you did.”

We are still working on Nyssa and Nick’s wedding video but have put together this short trailer of the day. We filmed their wedding video at St. Mary’s Church in Hemel Hempstead and at Hunton Park. We will put up some more highlights from the wedding video in a week or so but in the meanwhile, enjoy! As usual we would love to have your comments on the trailer.

Amanda and Andrew were married at St. Luke Church in Stonecross, just outside Eastbourne in Sussex. It was an absolutely glorious sunny day with just a hint of breeze. Amanda and arrived in a stunning white 1930s style Beauford two-door convertible. These are such lovely cars. She had a bit of a struggle getting out as her wedding dress seemed to fill most of the rear of the car. I don’t profess to know much about dresses, but as she emerged she and the dress looked absolutely stunning.

The ceremony over, we headed for The Langham Hotel on Eastbourne Seafront. At this stage we were a bit concerned as the photos at the church had taken longer than expected and we arrived at the reception venue just 30 – 40 minutes before the meal was due to start. With the speeches before the meal we knew that we were going to be pushed for time plus we had to find a parking place on a sunny Sunday in this popular seaside resort! Luckily the manager had arranged for us to park just round the corner from the hotel so we managed to get some footage of the couple arriving before we started filming the room and setting up for the speeches.

After the meal the photographer took the couple and their families across to the beach for more photos. Being late afternoon, the light was superb so we were able to capture some nice footage of Amanda and Andrew in what was a fairly unusually wedding setting.

The day over we had a lovely drive home along the Sussex coast in lovely late evening sunshine.

What a glorious day for Hannah and Adam’s wedding. The Walled Garden at Cowdray Park is a really stunning venue. It is probably most famous for the old Tudor ruins which give a dramatic backdrop for wedding photos and video. The gardens are always immaculately kept with paths criss-crossing though flower-beds full of lavender and roses as well as the quirky objects dotted about.  This sort of backdrop gives added interest to the typical ‘people’ shots as the guests stand chatting throughout the day. We have shot several weddings at The walled Garden and it is easily in one of my top five favourite venues.

Hannah looked absolutely stunning in a beautiful wedding dress and head-piece. She had created a sort of vintage 40s look which really was eye-catching. To reflect her Irish ancestry she had green shoes and green jewellery. She even had a pair of green slip-on shoes for the evening! The most noticeable element of the day was laughter, mainly from Hannah who was laughing and smiling throughout the day.

Hannah and Adam got our name from Adam’s Best Man, James, whose wedding we filmed a couple of years ago. It was nice to see James again. His speech was very confident and well-delivered and had the room in peals of laughter.

It was also nice to work with photographer Danni Beach, who we have worked with several times before. During the ‘couple’ photo session she managed to get Hannah and Adam totally relaxed for some really natural shots in the ruins; which of course meant that we were also able to get some great shots as well.

After a week of torrential downpours, we woke to see the sun shining and blue skies.  Carrie and David had chosen the ideal day and venue for their wedding.  Ghyll Manor is one of my favourite wedding venues, with its stunning views and small, secluded lake.  After the ceremony the usually family and group photos were taken by Pebbles (real name) from Pebble Heaven Photography. Pebble was a pleasure to work with and always had a big smile on her face throughout the day.

After the formal photos were over we took Carrie and David down a secluded walkway to the lake for some informal couple shots. We managed to get some lovely footage of just the two of them.

The big surprise of the day, for the guests, was The Singing Waiters during the meal. For those who haven’t seen or heard of this act, the waiters seem like ordinary members of the hotel team, but suddenly burst into song.  It always takes the guests a few minutes to realise that it is all staged and then they sit back and enjoy it. The grand finale had all the guests waving their napkins in the air.

This was a touch of déjà vu as we had filmed Lizzie’s sister’s wedding last year at the same church! It’s always nice to go back and film another wedding in the same family and see how people are getting on. Although the day was sunny in bright it was incredibly windy. It was so blustery that I had trouble keeping the camera steady when doing hand-held shots!

The ceremony was held at St. Leonard’s church in Seaford with the reception at The Hydro Hotel in Eastbourne. Although the wind kept people indoors throughout the day, it didn’t spoil the mood. The staff at The Hydro made a great job of the room and Matt had added his touch with the football-style table plan!
Lizzie and Matt had set up a sweet-shop section with loads of old-school favourites including liquorice allsorts (my favourite) – so I was OK! I really enjoyed the speeches, which were short and funny, especially Matt’s description of the big proposal!

It was a pleasure working with photographer Trina, who had her work cut out with the windy conditions. She brought along a picture frame to be used for photos during the reception. This went down a storm in the reception.

A lovely day and we wish Lizzie and Matt all the best for the future.

Hannah and Thomas were married on 16th April at the St. Peters and Paul Church in West Clandon. This was one of the first really Spring days of the year with the birds singing away, apple blossom on the trees and gentle Spring sunshine: all together an idyllic setting for a wedding.

Hannah arrived in a bright yellow taxi! When Hannah emerged from the taxi, helped by her proud Dad, she looked absolutely stunning. Hopefully the quite distinctive wedding dress can be clearly seen in the video.

The church service was slightly different inasmuch that there wasn’t a choir. Instead there was a superb soloist, accompanied by keyboards, leading the singing. The overall effect gave an elegant but contemporary feel to the ceremony. For me, the best bit of the ceremony is when the vicar finally announces that they are man and wife. All the tension and nerves suddenly leave and to be replaced by sheer happiness and joy. In this aspect, Tom and Hannah were no different from any other couple; their faces were a picture of joy.

Ceremony over and the couple left for Merrist Wood College, an Agricultural type College near Guildford. Tom is a lecturer at Merrist Wood, where he teaches would-be tree surgeons. What a lovely venue, set in picturesque countryside with a view towards Guildford Cathedral in the distance.
The reception was held in giant marquee set up in the grounds. As is often the case, the light inside was great for filming, a lovely soft, defused light from the afternoon sun creating soft shadows, with superb colours. This helped us get some really nice wedding breakfast footage and I think we really captured the mood of the day.

In between courses Abigail White, the photographer, took the couple outside for the usual ‘couple shots’. We managed to get some lovely shots of Tom and Hannah in the Bluebells as well as some ‘grunge’ type shots near the college outbuildings.

The day finished for us with the first dance and a pleasant drive home in the early evening sunshine. All in all a pleasant day with some nice footage for their wedding film.

The Ravenswood in Sharpthorne is one of my favourite wedding venues with its landscaped grounds, lakes and geese, although the geese do make a bit of a mess on the grass. You really have to watch where you are stepping. As well as an ideal venue, Kathryn and Matt were blessed with one of those glorious spring days where the sun shines, the birds sing and you know that summer is just around the corner.

As usual, Steve and his team at The Ravenswood had prepared the venue ready for the big day and with the sun shining through the windows it looked literally stunning. After welcoming drinks, the guests made their way to the ceremony room and it became clear that Matt was starting to feel a little emotional. However, as the gospel singers starting singing ‘all my life’ and Kathryn walked down the aisle all the emotion came out. It wasn’t long before the tissues came out. It was hardly surprising as Kathryn looked absolutely stunning as she came down the aisle. I don’t pretend to know a huge amount about wedding dresses, but her dress was certainly eye-catching. The wet eyes quickly turned to laughter and everyone relaxed and enjoyed the ceremony.

After the ceremony everyone went outside for photos and the spring sunshine. The photographer was Mark Curtis from MBM photography. Mark was great to work with and had a very relaxed style.
The wedding breakfast room looked fantastic and Kathryn and Matt were welcomed in to huge applause. The wedding cake was based on the tiers of cup-cakes with a small cake on top, an idea that has gained in popularity over the last year or two.

The speeches were a little different to normal with slide-shows and video of both the hen and stag nights and a special video message from Matt’s Grandmother. Matt finished his speech with a poem that he had written especially for Kathryn.

The evening finished for us with the first dance. All in all an enjoyable day with just the right mix of emotion and laughter.

This was a lovely day, one of those crisp days with beautiful blue skies. A lovely couple and a great venue.  Newick Park has the feel of an age gone by with its Art Decor style frontage and small, intimate rooms.  Everyone had a good time and it was nice to work with my old photographer friend, Gary Hector, again.

Anyway, we received the following email from Michael and Lisa this morning:

We were overwhelmed when we first watched it and just couldn’t take it in.The high quality editing was everything we could have wished for and more – you captured everything.
