Thursday 21st May saw us at St. Mark’s Church in Horsham, Sussex for Nicola and Alexander’s wedding. This was easily one of the nicest days this year with bright blue skies and sun!!  St. Mark’s is a modern church, with a glass roof, so very light and bright inside. After the ceremony we had a long trek to The Lythe Hill Hotel  in Hazelmere.

What a lovely venue. Set in the middle of the countryside, with a small lake. There were rabbits running around and ducks and ducklins swimming on the lake. With the blue skies it made an idyllic setting.  A close-up magician arrived part way through the reception drinks to entertain the guests.

The wedding breakfast room had a huge glass roof and even though the day wasn’t too hot, the air conditioning was working overtime to keep the room cool. I would image that it could get a bit too hot in the hot summer months.

A lovely wedding made by the Bride, Nicola.  A pleasant day with some good footage.

Victoria and Paul’s Wedding

Last Saturday (16th May) found us at The Goodwood Park Hotel in Sussex to film Victoria and Paul’s wedding. The day had been threatening rain, indeed I passed through a very heavy shower on the way there. Thankfully the skies started to clear, although there was a gale blowing, and the sun started peeping out.

What a lovely venue for a wedding, although easy to get a bit lost as it seems to spread over acres!  The ceremony was held in the Oaks room which looked great with a pink theme.

The day went well, although the strong wind didn’t encourage people to spend longer outside than necessary! So outside footage was limited to the group photo shots. We got so nice footage of the couple together at the lake.

The day ended with a couple of great singers performing a range of songs from ratpack through to the 70s / 80s hits.
